Amy Winehouse scrap tour

Amy Winehouse‘s career has taken another hit.

The troubled singer has canceled her current European tour, which was to have included 12 stops before winding up Aug. 15 in Bucharest, Romania.

Winehouse was booed during a shambolic performance Saturday night. The star, who appeared to be under the influence, arrived onstage an hour late before stumbling around and slurring the words to her 2008 song Just Friends.

She greeted the crowd of 20,000 by shouting, “Hello, Athens,” reports the U.K.’s Telegraph newspaper.

Following the incident, Winehouse, 27, apologized to fans and canceled Monday’s scheduled performance in Istanbul and Wednesday’s in Athens.

Meanwhile, Winehouse has reportedly been retired “indefinitely” by her manager Raye Cosbert so she can concentrate on her health and well-being.

“It has been hard for Raye to watch her get into trouble over the years. There’s only so much he can do but enough’s enough,” a source said.

“She’s going away and this time it could be for years.”
