Emily Maynard has confirmed her split from Brad Womack.
The couple got engaged on The Bachelor season finale last March, but have now ended their romance.
“We’re no longer engaged,” Emily told People magazine.
Emily, 25, says decided to break her silence about the status of her and Womack’s relationship because she wants to put an end to “all the media speculation” so that she and her 6-year-old daughter, Ricki, “can move on and get back to normal.”
Brad says “the demise of our relationship was completely my fault.”
Maynard adds that “just because we love each other doesn’t mean we’re right for each other.”
