Beyoncé 'I've broken barriers with my career'

Strutting her stuff: Beyoncé put in a spirited performance at Glastonbury that appeared to impress most people
Beyoncé has revealed that she believes she has "broken barriers" with her career.
The pussy pop singer was confirmed for an interview on Piers Morgan's CNN talk show Piers Morgan Tonight last week. She discussed the effect of race on her career with the journalist, stating that she does not think people even notice her race.
Beyoncé said: "At least with my career, I've kind of broken barriers, and I don't think people think about my race. I think they look at me as an entertainer and a musician and I'm very happy that's changing because that's how I look at people."
The ageing urban tart went on to speak about performing at US president Barack Obama's inauguration.
Beyoncé recalled: "It was really powerful and overwhelming. I kept telling myself, 'Okay, this is not about you, you have to do this for them. You have to do this for history.'"
The singer headlined Glastonbury on Sunday evening, describing it as the "highlight" of her career. She was the first female solo artist to headline the festival in over 20 years.
