Sandra Bullock comforting George Clooney

Sandra Bullock has been comforting pal George Clooney following his split from girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis.

The Hollywood stars are currently filming their new movie, Gravity, in London, England, and Bullock who recently divorced her cheating husband Jesse James has been providing Clooney with a shoulder to cry on, reports Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper.

“They are very close and she will hate to see George hurting.They have also been through the mill relationship-wise. They will be there for each other,” a source said.

George and Elisabetta who dated for two years ended their romance following a blazing row.

Alfonso Signorini, a close pal of Elisabetta and editor of the magazineChi, said, “It was he who dumped her and she stormed out of the villa.

“Last week I was with Elisabetta the whole day filming and she must have had about 60 text messages from George. I said to her, ‘Darling, stop, otherwise we will never finish here.’

“She was so excited about meeting him as he had a few days off from shooting his film in London.”
