Julia Roberts liked playing drunk school teacher

Julia Roberts insists she had no qualms about going from Pretty Woman to outrageous drunk in her latest movie.

The 43-year-old actress plays an alcoholic for her Larry Crowne director and showbiz pal Tom Hanks.

And Julia insists she was in her element.

“People ask about if I thought twice about taking the role but I’m like, ‘Are you kidding?’

“It’s the most fun thing anyone has ever asked me to do on camera play a drunk school teacher. How awesome is that?”

Julia recently revealed she believes it was her destiny to marry husband Danny Moder.

“I hope there are good people who agree that I have done good, kind things in my life. But to really, ultimately, stand fully in a moment of realizing that I was born to love and be the wife of this man,” she said.

“Danny is my best friend, my truth-teller. There’s something you can build a life on.

“He stands by the choices he has made. He will never blame it on somebody else and I have never seen anybody else do that.”
