New York Post gossip Page Six claims the actress refused to be interviewed by the Today show star who had flown from New York to her Venice Beach pad for a sit-down about her house arrest because the network wasn’t paying enough money.

Lohan wanted $100,000; Today was only offering $50,000.

“Matt flew all the way to LA to do an interview they had already agreed on,” a source said. “They had been talking about it for a long time. But she refused to come down at the last minute. Matt was sitting in the chair on the first floor, waiting to do the interview with his crew all set up.

“The deal had been set up for her to be paid $50,000 for photos or videos, because they don’t pay for interviews. But she flipped out and said she wanted $100,000, or no deal.
