Amy Adams 'Hollywood loves Muppet'

Amy Adams says Hollywood is full of famous Muppet fans.

The Julie and Julia star has told how she was inundated with celeb pals desperate to join her on screen in the new Muppet movie.

“I have one friend that did a cameo but there were a lot of people I know who wanted to,” says Julia.

“Every time I told someone I was doing the movie, they were like, ‘Oh, I love the Muppets!’ It’s a great thing.

“The Muppets have such a great tradition of bringing together all of genres of actors and all ages of actors.”

Adams recently revealed she’s in love with Kermit The Frog.

“I actually got a DVD from Kermit inviting me to be in the movie,” she said.

“By the end of it I was teary and going, ‘Kermit the Frog knows my name!’ I figured that if I reacted to a Muppet like that then so would audiences so I had to do the movie.”
