Adam Sandler is gonna play Dracula!
The Hollywood funnyman has signed up to star in Sony’s new 3D animated flickHotel Transylvania.
Other stars lending their voice to the project include David Spade(Quasimodo), Kevin James(Frankenstein’s monster), Steve Buscemi and Molly Shannon(werewolves) and Andy Samberg (as Jonathan, the human who arrives at the hotel).
“We’re thrilled to be working with Adam to create a comedic Dracula for a new generation,” said Sony’s Michelle Raimo-Kouyate in commenting on the announcement. “We have a unique story about that iconic character, starring a phenomenal cast directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, that re-imagines Transylvania and its legendary monsters in the way that only animation can.”
Adam who has two daughters with his actress wife Jacqueline Samantha Titone recently admitted it’s “difficult” raising children while being well-off financially.
“I go to sleep thinking about it and I wake up thinking about it. I’m trying to do the right thing,” he said.
“With the amount of money I have it’s difficult raising children the way that I was raised but I took away the west and north wing of the house from those guys. So they’re not allowed in there.”
