Patrick Dempsey's kids don't think he's a star

Patrick Dempsey can’t convince his kids he’s a world famous heartthrob.

The 45-year-old actor says his four-year-old twins Sullivan and Darby still won’t believe their daddy is a star.

“There was something on about Grey’s Anatomy the other day which they saw and they were like, ‘Dad, why are you in the TV? How did you get in there?’” Patrick said.

“They were really confused even after I had tried to explain to them what daddy does for a living.”

Patrick recently insisted the current season of Grey’s Anatomy will be “his last”.

It’s gonna be my last. I do not know what’s going to happen to the other characters, but for me it’s done,” he said.

“[Leaving will be] bittersweet because it’s been a great part of my life. But I can’t see me doing it anymore.”
