Prince Albert II &Princess Charlene honeymooning in South Africa

Dark clouds: Princess Charlene and Prince Albert of Monaco arrive for a dinner at Opera terraces after their religious wedding ceremony on July 2
Prince Albert II of Monaco and his new wife Princess Charlene are honeymooning in South Africa.
The royal couple who tied the knot in both civil and religious ceremonies over the weekend have reportedly traveled to the blonde beauty’s home country for a lavish post-wedding holiday.
According to MailOnline, the billionaire prince and his bride are set to check into the lavish Oyster Box Hotel in Umhlanga, which is situated just half-an-hour’s drive from Durban, where the 33-year-old former Olympic swimmer used to train.
With the Presidential Suite complete with its own swimming pool, a private dining area and a marble bath overlooking the Indian Ocean setting the 53-year-old prince back £8,600-a-night, insiders claim Albert was following in the footsteps of Britain’s Prince William and Duchess Catherine with the luxury break.
“It’s a perfect place for a pair of newlyweds,” a source said. “William took Catherine to a very expensive beach resort for their honeymoon following the British royal wedding, so why not Albert and Charlene?”
The royal couple are also expected to attend an International Olympic Committee banquet on Thursday.
