Sofia Vergara wanted to be a dentist!
The Modern Family actress says she trained to work in dentistry, but never completed her studies as her showbiz career began to take off.
“I went to dental school but then I started getting opportunities in television and modelling. It is hard when you’re 20 and you wake up and think, ‘I go and make money or I go to class,’” she explained.
Sofia recently revealed she was teased for her “toothpick” figure when she was a little girl.
“I was ridiculously skinny. They called me ‘palillo’, which means toothpick in Spanish,” she said.
“I was still skinny, but suddenly I had these big boobs. It was terrible! I used to tell my mother, ‘I’m going to cut these off as soon as I turn 18′.
Sofia says she maintains her curvy figure by eating cake every day.
