Lindsay Lohan completes house arrest

Lindsay Lohan has completed her house arrest sentence. 
The Mean Girls star surrendered to begin approximately 35 days of confinement in late May following her no contest plea to thepurported theft of a $2,500 necklace. 
As of today, the electronic tag on Lohan's ankle will be removed, leaving the actress free to leave her residence when she chooses, reports TMZ. 
However, the 24-year-old still remains on probation. Lohan must complete 480 hours of community service, as well as enrol in a "shoplifters alternative class" and receive psychological counselling.
Lohan was ordered back to court when she tested positive for alcohol last week. Ultimately, the judge ruled that Lohan had not violated the terms of her probation, accusing the actress of extremely poor judgement. 
Lohan recently said in an interview that she wants to prove she has grown up, claiming that she would like to return to work.

Kim Kardashian asks Vera Wang employees to sign NDAs

Kim Kardashian wants to keep details of her wedding dress under wraps.

According to New York Post gossip column Page Six, the socialite who’s engaged to her sports hunk boyfriendKris Humphries has asked all the staff at Vera Wang‘s company to sign confidentiality agreements as she continues to meet with the top bridal-wear designer about a dress for her wedding.

Kim met with Wang in New York earlier this week, and they’re due to meet again in LA next week, with Wang designing not one, but two dresses for the curvy reality star. Kim is soon to travel to Humphries’ hometown in Minnesota to meet with his family as they continue to make wedding plans.

Recent reports claimed Kim and Kris will get married in early August.

“The date that close friends of the family are being given is toward the beginning of August,” a source said.

“They are looking at private estates in Los Angeles, since location will make it much easier for guests flying in to attend.”

Eva Mendes dating Jason Sudeikis?

Eva Mendes is reportedly dating Jason Sudeikis.

The actress reportedly joined Sudeikis, 35, for a double date with Arrested Development star Jason Batemanand his wife at a restaurant in New York last Friday.

“They dined together at L’Artusi in the West Village,” a source said.

“When Eva wanted a cigarette, they all went outside for a smoke break and the Saturday Night Live funnyman was overheard saying, ‘We’re a great team!’”

The pair were also said to have been holding hands at the 24 Hour Plays benefit in Santa Monica last week, and were reportedly spotted kissing in the car park after the show.

Eva recently admitted she has an aversion to tying the knot because she thinks the institution is “archaic” and not a romantic thing to do.

“It’s not personal. There are all these wedding shows and it’s so over-the-top, it’s so not about what it should be about,” she said.

“I’m not like anti-marriage or the institution for other people. I love the idea of a union, that’s very beautiful. I just don’t think it should be a piece of paper because society tells me to.

“It’s a very old fashioned archaic kind of thing. We did it for land originally, how unromantic is that?”

Robert Pattinson gets pie in the face

Robert Pattinson was splattered with a pie in Toronto, Canada, earlier this week, according to pictures published by British newspaper The Sun.

The incident came while the actor was shooting scenes for his new movie Cosmopolis, the paper reports.

Directed by filmmaker David Cronenberg, the movie tells the story of a 28-year-old multi-millionaire attempting to cross Manhattan in a custom built limo in order to get a haircut.

Recent reports claimed Rob and his girlfriend and Twilight costar Kristen Stewart have been arguing over the hunky actor’s partying ways.

“Rob’s been partying hard,” said an insider.

“He’s been out almost every night at concerts and dinners with pals and this is hot on the heels of him going out clubbing with Sienna Miller in London a few weeks ago.

“Kristen’s upset about his partying and ended up having a tearful showdown with him over the phone, saying he’s acting as if he finds life boring with her.

“She’s feeling insecure because she’s back home looking after their dog Bear and hasn’t seen him for weeks.

“But Rob thinks she’s blowing it all out of proportion.”

Selena Gomez admits she didn’t have an easy childhood but has come to terms with her parents’ divorce.

The actress’ mother and father split when she was just five years old, and her working mother raised her as an only child.

“I just think it’s really common nowadays, that you grow up in a single-parent household. I grew up like that, and I was fine. My dad was still in my life, so it was good,” Selena told PopEater.

“I love that there’s that message in the movie. Being able to be married into a family, which is so common, and having people you don’t know like stepsisters and stepbrothers, and getting past the awkward stage. I think it was nice that we touched on that.”

The daughter of Sarah Palin who had a baby with her ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston is currently promoting her new book Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far.

“The night with Levi is one of my biggest mistakes. I knew that if I wanted this book to have an impact on people that I was going to have to be completely candid and completely honest,” Bristol said.

“I put it all on the table just knowing in the back of my head that others can relate to these stories and hopefully learn from it.

“It’s not ideal for anyone to be a teen mom and hopefully girls can learn from that story.

“I hate the word abstinence. It reminds me of Sex Ed class. Ehhh. Its not all about abstinence. I wasn’t going to have sex before I got married. For others, if that’s not an option for them, you know, hopefully they will practice safe sex … really safe sex. Just because you’re on birth control doesn’t mean you’re not going to get pregnant.”

Jennifer Lopez being replaced on American Idol?

Jennifer Lopez could well have cost herself her gig on American Idol.

According to PopEater, insiders believe Lopez’s admission to the BBC that she’s “on the fence” about returning toIdol next season is nothing more than a ploy for a pay hike so they’re discussing possible replacements should they not be able to entice her to return.

“Right now the star of American Idol is Steven Tyler,” a source said.

“Everyone thought after Simon Cowellannounced he was leaving that [Lopez] would fill the void. How wrong were they? It’s all about Steven, who’s already signed on for season 11.

“Idol has resurrected her much-stalled music career.

“Likewise, Idol didn’t fall apart when Simon left and Jennifer has to get some of the credit for that. But let’s also remember the show didn’t increase in ratings and that is also thanks to J.Lo.”

Shania Twain and Shakira are already being mentioned as Lopez’s replacement.
