Michael Caine amazed by Batman secrecy

Michael Caine has told how he continues to be amazed by the level of secrecy surrounding Chris Nolan‘s Batman movies.

The 78-year-old Italian Job star says after playing Alfred the Butler in three Batman movies and his role in Inceptionhe still manages to fall foul of his spoiler-conscious director.

“I’m lucky to be able to even mention the title actually,” says Sir Michael.

“I’ve already gotten in trouble for even mentioning that I’m working on it and we’re filming. I said that in an interview and he phoned me up saying, ‘Why did you say that? You shouldn’t of said that!’”
